The Detroit Lions are handing the Dallas Cowboys a loss, but they may have suffered a significant loss on the defensive side of the ball.

Lions star pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson suffered a potentially serious leg injury in the third quarter of Detroit’s Week 6 game. It came on a play in which he sacked Dak Prescott but bent his leg awkwardly while bringing the Dallas quarterback to the ground .

Hutchinson immediately grabbed his leg as he fell to the ground. He took off his gloves and lay there while Detroit medical staff attended to him.

The match was significantly delayed as Hutchinson lagged behind. He was eventually carted off to the Lions’ locker room.

Numerous players from both the Lions and Cowboys surrounded the cart and gave Hutchinson well wishes before he left the field.
