The two defenses dominated the game. Aside from Joe Burrow’s big run, neither offense has accomplished much. Burrow and Jones are still their teams’ leading rushers, and neither has been spectacular throwing the football. Burrow is 9 of 15 for 87 yards and Jones is 8 of 16 for 81 yards.

The Giants sacked Burrow three times and the Bengals picked off Jones once, and a pressure forced the game’s only turnover.

Both offenses will need to make some adjustments to get the ball moving, but both teams should be pleased with their defensive efforts.

Also, special teams can play a role in a low-scoring game, and Giants punter Ihmir Smith-Marsette left the game with a foot injury and is questionable to return.
