SALT LAKE CITY — If you missed the chance to watch the comet zoom over Utah the past few nights, Monday might be the perfect chance to explore the space phenomenon before it takes another 80,000 years.

The timelapse video below shows Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS hovering over Utah (Ryan McCalmon):

The National Weather Service office in Salt Lake City said conditions should be good Monday evening for viewing Tsuchinshan-ATLAS along the Wasatch Front and western Utah.

Anyone looking up should be able to see the comet with the naked eye by looking west.
