It’s time. Tonight the New York Yankees play the Cleveland Guardians in the Bronx. Yes, we’re a little uneasy about the erratic Carlos Rodón being on the mound for the opener, but he’s in the rotation and should pitch at some point. Clarke Schmidt will be ready in Game 3 in Cleveland (and in a potential Game 7 if necessary). Let’s hope Aaron Boone doesn’t hesitate to shatter the glass that rested the bullpen in the middle innings at the first sign of trouble — especially with Gerrit Cole in line for Game 2. Win tonight, no matter what, and step on the right side off foot!
