The Bills won the coin toss and decided to defer to the second half and the Jets started the game with the ball. Jets QB Aaron Rodgers led the offense down the field early, finding WR Garrett Wilson for 24 yards. After a long run from RB Breece Hall, the offense stalled and the Jets settled for a field goal, making the early score 3-0.

On the next possession, the Bills made their presence felt by executing a nine-play drive. The Bills threw the ball just once, as RB Ray Davis eaten up much of the early yardage, running for 48 yards on this first drive, including runs of 14 and 15 yards.

At the end of the drive, QB Josh Allen knocked the ball in from the one-yard line to push the lead to 7-3.

The Jets responded with a touchdown drive of their own, with Rodgers connecting with Wilson from the Bills’ five-yard line to regain the lead 10–7.
