Jets allow Haason Reddick’s agents to contact teams about trade interest

Rosenhaus told NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo Monday night before the Jets’ loss to the Bills at MetLife Stadium that the first goal was to reach a resolution with New York.

As Reddick continues his reprieve and the fines increase, it makes sense for all parties to at least see what’s available — if only to assess the landscape before they meet again.

In a league that changes from week to week — like the Lions losing Defensive Player of the Year candidate Aidan Hutchinson — it would allow Rosenhaus Rope to see what other teams might offer in terms of a trade and/or a contract can help the discussions move forward.

A trade for Reddick could help the Jets get back some of the draft assets they sent to Vegas to get the Adams deal done.
