Nobody throws Hail Mary passes like Aaron Rodgers.

The New York Jets quarterback padded his resume with a 52-yard strike to Allen Lazard to end the first half of Monday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. It closed the halftime deficit to 20-17 and gave the Jets momentum heading into the second half.

The others came in the playoffs, with Jeff Janis catching one to force overtime against the Arizona Cardinals and Randall Cobb with another.

There was some confusion at the end of Monday’s pass, as one official ruled it incomplete and another said it was a touchdown. The ball jumped out after Lazard grabbed it, but the referee reviewed the play and ruled it a goal.

It was the right call, as the receiver had possession of the ball in the end zone before it was ripped out.
