List of locations in California – NBC Bay Area

Anticipated fire conditions have led to possible power outages in parts of the Bay Area this week.

PG&E said the possible Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) could begin Thursday and last through Sunday. The timeline of possible PSPS aligns with the start of a Red Flag Warning issued by the National Weather Service beginning Thursday and continuing through the weekend due to a system bringing hot, dry winds.

Residents can expect winds of 20 to 30 mph with at least 40 mph gusts. Those who live at higher altitudes may experience poor humidity.

To receive a phone call or text message in the event of a power outage, sign up for PG&E’s PSPS alerts.
