PREDICTION DISCUSSION:

Saturday will be a great day weather-wise for Central Ohio. Skies will be partly cloudy for most of the day. High temperatures will be above average in the upper 70s. These above-average temperatures will come to an end as a system will move through the region in the coming days.

Tonight skies will vary from partly to mostly cloudy. warmer air will also linger. Lows will only drop to around 60 degrees in the city and into the mid-50s in remote areas. By the early morning hours, wind speeds are expected to increase slightly, but it won’t be too breezy.

The temperature will cool slightly on Sunday. There will be an isolated chance of spotty sprinkles. North of Columbus will see most of the rain that will fall. All this is accompanied by a cold front that will pass through Sunday night.

The new work week comes with an explosion of very cool air. Highs will be in the mid 50s with lows moving closer to freezing overnight. Windy conditions are expected on Monday, but those winds will eventually die down. Sunny skies will return in the second half of the week.
