Strong message from Cleveland Guardians Skipper after 0-2 deficit against Yankees

Stephen Vogt and the Cleveland Guardians were unable to tie their ALCS series against the New York Yankees on Tuesday night. Instead, they lost by a final score of 6-3 and are now tied at zero in the two-match series.

Returning from an 0-2 start to a series is a very difficult task, but the Guardians have not lost confidence in their ability to do so.

After the tough loss in Game 2, Vogt spoke about his team and revealed how close Cleveland is to the series. He clearly expects his team to keep fighting and has no intention of giving up on the series.

“We are one hit away from taking the lead in that game,” Vogt said. “We’re just one blow away from being back in it. That’s who we are. We don’t give up. We just have to remain ourselves.”

With the series moving back to home field advantage for the Guardians, they must find a way to win Game 3. If they fell to a 0-3 deficit, there would be almost no chance of coming back.

On the other hand, if they win Game 3, they’ll be right back in the mix.

Looking ahead to Thursday night’s game, Cleveland has not yet announced who their starting pitcher will be. As for the Yankees, they are currently scheduled to give Clark Schmidt the starting nod. He has been solid this season, but the Guardians will have some opportunities for run production.

Cleveland will have to find a way to start strong and get up early in New York. If they can play from the lead, they will be in a good position to steal Game 3.

One thing is certain: the fact that the Guardians fans will be loud and excited in Game 3. They will do everything they can to give Cleveland an advantage over the Yankees.

That said, New York can be beat. The Guardians may have lost two games, but they haven’t been far from making the series very different.

Hopefully they can get a win tomorrow night and make the series interesting again.
