AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Christian Pulisic, Ricardo Pepi and Weston McKennie will miss the United States’ friendly in Mexico on Tuesday to return to their clubs in Europe.

Marlon Fossey and Zack Steffen, who didn’t dress 2-0 win over Panama on Saturdayare also returning to their teams, the U.S. Soccer Federation said Sunday.

The USSF said Pulisic will skip the match and return to AC Milan for charge management. The federation said the others have minor injuries and will receive evaluation and treatment with their teams.

No players will be added, leaving 21 players available for the match in Guadalajara.

Pulisic assisted Yunus Musah’s goal against Panama early in the second half and Pepi scored in stoppage time. The match marked Mauricio Pochettino’s debut as USA coach.

“As we have said, we will always make decisions that are in the best interests of our players and respect the relationship we have with their clubs,” Pochettino said in a statement.
