Portland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons will miss his third preseason game, and forward Jerami Grant will miss his first Wednesday night against Ratiopharm Ulm at the Moda Center.

Forward Jabari Walker (right ankle soreness) will also sit.

Blazers coach Chauncey Billups said before the 7 p.m. game that Simons remains out with ankle soreness, while Grant will get some rest.

“Ant was just a little sore, but he’s doing fine,” Billups said.

Shaedon Sharpe (left shoulder posterior labral tear), Robert Williams III (left hamstring strain) and Matisse Thybulle (right knee soreness) are also out.

The Blazers start Scoot Henderson, Rayan Rupert, Deni Avdija, Toumani Camara and Deandre Ayton.

Ratiopharm Ulm point guard Ben Saraf is a player to watch tonight. The 6-foot-1 point guard is a potential 2025 lottery pick.
