Bronny James’ NBA career has always been compared to that of his father, LeBron. When he was picked in the second round by the Lakers after just one season in college, it became clear that LeBron just wanted to play professionally with his son.

Still, Bronny’s rookie season isn’t off to a great start. Even in the preseason, he struggled to acclimate to the NBA, and his presence wasn’t felt in the box score. Bronny will likely spend much of the season in the G-league, but before the regular season starts, Los Angeles still has two preseason games to go.

The Lakers will hit the road to take on the Suns for the second time this preseason. Los Angeles lost the first meeting at home 118-114. In that game, Bronny played 13 minutes and missed the only shot he made, a three-pointer. Bronny had two rebounds, four turnovers and three fouls.
