Forecast Outlook – 18/10/24

A cold storm moving in from the north will bring strong winds and the coldest air yet this season. A wind advisory is in effect until midnight Friday until 11 p.m., with gusts up to 50 mph in the Las Vegas Valley.

Because the wind is from the north, it will feel much colder when you step out the door on Friday morning. It feels like temperatures will be in the 50s and 40s around Southern Nevada.

There is a small chance of an occasional shower during the night until Friday morning. The best opportunities are north and east of the Las Vegas Valley. Friday afternoon high temperatures will remain in the low 70s and high 60s. The wind will calm down for your weekend. Light breezes will continue Saturday morning with gusts of 20 to 30 km/h.

The wind will remain light on Sunday and it will be mainly sunny all weekend. Mornings will remain chilly with lows in the 50s before afternoon highs rise into the mid 70s. Temperatures will rise again next week with dry conditions.

Forecast high temperatures return to the mid-80s with dry weather in southern Nevada.
