HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. (WCJB) – The New Century Women’s Club of High Springs is getting into the fall spirit with an Oktoberfest event to benefit a local community school.

The festival, which begins Friday at 6 p.m. at the High Springs Brewing Company, benefits the art and music departments of High Springs Community School.

Visitors can enjoy regular Oktoberfest dishes such as bratwurst, sauerkraut and German potato salad.

The New Century Women’s Club is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

It has more than 100 members and is committed to serving the local community of High Springs.
