    Oregon High School Football Scores, OR Week 8 Updates

    The state’s coaches believe Silverton and Wilsonville are the two best 5A teams, and those squads will square it off Friday on the field in Silverton in the Statesman Journal’s Game of the Week in a Special District 2 contest to 7:00 PM.

    Silverton (5-1, 2-0 SD2) is ranked second and Wilsonville (5-1, 2-0) is ranked first in this week’s 5A coaching poll. Wilsonville is the defending state champion, while Silverton was a 2023 state semifinalist.
