LS Dunes, the post-hardcore supergroup led by Circa Survive and Saosin frontman Anthony Green, returns to the top in 2025 with its second full-length, Violet, Billboard can exclusively reveal. “Machines,” the album’s second track, will be unveiled tonight at midnight ET, following the September release of “Fatal Deluxe.”

The new album – out January 31, 2025 on Fantasy Records – follows 2022’s roaring debut LP, Past lives. Green formed LS Dunes with Coheed and Cambria guitarist Travis Stever, My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero, bassist Tim Payne and Thursday drummer Tucker Rule.

“As an album, Violet encapsulates everything we have tried to achieve since we formed as a band,” Payne said in a statement Billboard. “That’s to give us, as individual musicians, a safe space to explore music in ways we haven’t had the chance to do yet.”

Following their debut at Riot Fest in 2022, the supergroup toured heavily in support of Past lives before regrouping in the studio. “Now that we knew each other much better as artists,” Payne continued, “we were able to continue pushing each other’s creative boundaries, but this time with a concerted effort to put the songs above all else. This helped create a very cohesive sound, while still staying true to our own stylistic choices.”

LS Dunes heads to Las Vegas this weekend for the When We Were Young festival and then tours North America through November 22. Violet can be pre-ordered here.
