Bruins-Utah Hockey Club projected lines: Boston makes inaugural visit

The Boston Bruins will play visitors from the Utah Hockey Club for the first time in their franchise history on Saturday night at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.

Hours before the puck dropped, Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery noted, without revealing any specifics, that he planned to “make a couple of substitutions up front.” During Friday’s practice, forward Justin Brazeau skated alongside Brad Marchand and Charlie Coyle on the right wing. Brazeau started the road trip as a healthy scratch as Boston reached the Rocky Mountains and faced off against the Colorado Avalanche.

Brazeau has one assist for the Bruins in the four games played so far.

Boston rolls in front of the net with Jeremy Swayman, opposite Utah’s Connor Ingram. Swayman has gone 2-1-0 in three starts this season with a 2.98 goals-against average and an .893 save percentage. The 25-year-old takes over for fellow Boston goalkeeper Joonas Korpisalo, who recorded 22 saves from 25 shots in Wednesday night’s 5-3 win in Colorado

Utah, currently third in the Central Division, will look to avoid a third straight defeat after allowing eight goals in its last two games played.
