    Wisconsin, Penn State plays a night game on NBC Oct. 26 in Madison

    The Wisconsin Badgers welcome Penn State – No. 3 in the Associated Press Top 25 this week – to Camp Randall Stadium on Oct. 26, and it will be under the spotlight.

    The school announced a 6:30 PM CT kickoff Monday on NBC for the home game against the Nittany Lions (6-0).

    Penn State emerged from the weekend undefeated and with a 3-0 win in the Big Ten, narrowly escaping with an overtime victory against USC on Saturday. The Nittany Lions have a bye this week and next play the Badgers. UW has lost five straight games to Penn State, including the 2016 Big Ten Championship Game in Indianapolis.

    The Badgers played two evening games in Big Ten play at Camp Randall Stadium last year, against Ohio State and Nebraska.

    Wisconsin and PSU last faced off to open the 2021 season — a 16-10 UW loss in which the Badgers came in ranked 12th and Penn State ranked 19th.

    Wisconsin (4-2 overall, 2-1 Big Ten) faces Northwestern on the road this week with an 11 a.m. CT kickoff. From there, the schedule gets intense, with battles against Penn State, Iowa on the road, No. 2 Oregon and Nebraska on the road before culminating in a rivalry battle against Minnesota in Madison. Iowa and Nebraska both received votes in the AP Top 25 this week.
