The east coast counterpart to San Diego Comic-Con – namely New York Comic-Con – is in full force, which means we’ll be getting plenty of new trailers, first looks, featurettes and more from some of the most anticipated movies and TV shows coming to our screens in the near (or hopefully near) future. We’ll be bringing them all as they come out, so check back here every day from Thursday, October 17 to Sunday, October 20 for the latest movie and TV trailers!

Netflix technically released this trailer early in the morning, but they did have a panel for this film later in the day, so we’re counting. MCU veterans Joe and Anthony Russo direct this sci-fi action film, based on the 2018 graphic novel of the same name, about a girl living in an alternate version of the 1990s who journeys with her robot companion and a friendly stranger to find her missing brother . The star-studded cast includes Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Stanley Tucci and more.

Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League

During a panel on Thursday, fans got their first look Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza Leaguethe sequel to the 2018 film Batman Ninja. While the first film threw the Caped Crusader into feudal Japan to face his familiar enemies, the sequel finds him at odds with an alternate version of the Justice League.

The upcoming animation Lord of the rings film, set 183 years prior to Peter Jackson’s iconic live-action trilogy and telling the story of a legendary king of Rohan, held a panel early Friday and released a new featurette detailing the behind-the-scenes process of making of the film is described.

After successfully bringing a new perspective to the matter The invisible man for theaters, where Leigh Whannell hopes to do the same Wolf-Manthe latest reboot of Universal and Blumhouse’s creature feature. The latter studio held a BlumFest panel on Friday, celebrating the studio’s 15th anniversary and dropping the first trailer for Wolf-Manstarring Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner.

We’ve got the first half of this new animated adaptation of DC Comics’ Watchmen back in August this year, and with Chapter 2 which comes out in November, we got a red band trailer for it on Friday.

The Penguin – Midseason Trailer

HBO came to the Con with Colin Farrell, Cristin Milioti, Michael Kelly, Clancy Brown and them The penguin co-stars and creators to talk about the series and preview the remaining mid-season episodes.

Finally we got our first look Dune: Prophecythe prequel series set 10,000 years before the events of Denis Villeneuve Dune films and focused on the supernatural sisterhood known as the Bene Gesserit. The trailer also finally revealed a premiere date for the series: November 17.

We still don’t know exactly when season 8 will start Rick and Morty premieres, but during the show’s NYCC panel we not only learned that the show had been renewed for two more seasons — which takes us all the way to season 12 — but we also got a work-in-progress animation from a opening scene of season 8 in which disaster strikes when Rick and Morty board a ship full of passengers in cryo-sleep.

Coming to Adult Swim from 2025


The Starz fantasy drama Foreigner debuted with a trailer for the second half of the seventh season, the first half of which ended its eight-episode run on August 11. Part 2, also consisting of eight episodes, debuts on November 22 and runs through January 10, 2025.

During the late afternoon panel on Friday, Prime Video gave us a glimpse of their upcoming adaptation of James Patterson’s Alex Cross crime novel series, starring Aldis Hodge in the title role as a brilliant detective with a knack for identifying murder victims and tracking down killers.

Fans of The walking dead also got their first look at season 2 of TWD spinoff Dead citywhich follows Lauren Cohan’s Maggie and Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan as they navigate Manhattan in search of Maggie’s kidnapped son.
