EAST LANSING, MI – Michigan State’s offense made a habit of hanging on the opponent’s side of the field, but that led to a record-breaking performance.

The Michigan State Spartans defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes 32-20 in an old-fashioned Big Ten showdown at Spartan Stadium on Saturday, October 19.

Michigan State Spartans place kicker Jonathan Kim made six of his seven field goal attempts, breaking the school record for most field goals in a game.

The Spartan defense held firm. It was able to consistently stop the run and force a clutch interception with covert coverage.
