It is doubtful whether Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels will return against the Carolina Panthers after suffering a rib injury in the first quarter of Sunday’s game.

Daniels went to the locker room to undergo X-rays, the CBS broadcast said.

The No. 2 overall pick was 2-of-2, passing for 6 yards and had three carries for 50 yards on one drive at the time of his departure.
