Angel Reese was on the court in support of both teams during WNBA Finals Game 5

A familiar face was present at Game 5 of the WNBA Finals between the Minnesota Lynx and New York Liberty on Sunday evening. Chicago Sky star Angel Reese could be seen playing the game, and it looked like she was making a case for both sides in the winner-takes-all Game 5.

Reese wore what appeared to be a custom outfit with a center slit, with the Lynx on one side and the Liberty on the other.

One half of the jersey featured Minnesota star Napheesa Collier’s number 24. On the other hand, she represented New York’s Breanna Stewart’s number 30.

That’s certainly one way to avoid controversy over your outfit choice. Without openly declaring allegiance to either team, Reese made it clear that she was showing support for both the Liberty and Lynx as they competed in the closeout game of the WNBA Finals.

Reese enjoyed a strong rookie season in the WNBA, finishing second to Caitlin Clark in the league’s Rookie of the Year voting. She averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds while shooting 39.1% from the field, although she and the Sky missed the playoffs.
