In what felt like a feather-filled throwback to the 2000s, Victoria’s Secret’s runway show returned to the social radar on October 15. From US favorites like Tyra Banks and Bella Hadid to newcomers like Lila Moss and Alex Consani, models adorned in lingerie charmed their way down the catwalk. Apart from the beauty and fantasy of the show, we all know that the hottest looks are always found at the after party.

To celebrate the return of fashion’s most iconic and controversial catwalk, a star-studded guest list showed up in New York’s Meatpacking District. And with that party, it’s clear that pure and afterparty have become almost synonymous at this point. It was also one of the coldest nights NYC has seen this fall, so it’s always surprising to see how committed these stars are to the look, even when it’s 55 degrees outside.

In the age of quiet luxury, it was a relief for fashion lovers on Beyonce’s internet to see every top model, pop star and socialite step out in daring glamour. From basketball superstars Angel Reese and Kysre Gondrezick to USA Bombers Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima, it’s safe to say we were fed. Shots from outside the party captured a series of after-dark lingerie-inspired looks that serve as perfect holiday inspiration. Just like with the catwalk show, underwear took center stage during the afterparty. Anok Yai wore a structured black corset with tights and singer Tyla opted for a lacy ivory bralette. Others chose to pair their underwear with stunning dresses, like Ashley Graham’s silky lace-up dress with a cheetah-print bra peeking through, and Jasmine Tookes, who paired her gold dress with a glittering silver bra.

The stars looked like they were attending the most amazing sleepover. Black was the atmosphere and sultry cutouts in satin and leather were in abundance. Sheer mesh was also a hot item, with singer Coco Jones and personality Jordyn Woods showing some skin in black embroidered dresses, and model Imaan Hammam ditching her black lingerie with a sheer dress.
