The two teams have faced each other in eleven World Series, more than any other duo. When the Dodgers were based in Brooklyn, the Yankees had a commanding 6-1 lead in World Series matchups. In fact, since the Dodgers moved to Hollywood in the late 1950s, the teams have been in pairs. They last met in 1981.

Tickets for the 2024 Worlds Series are on sale

World Series tickets are on sale and ticket prices are staggering. Starting Monday, resale tickets for Game 1 at Dodger Stadium will range from $1,095 for seats near the foul ball pole at first base to $37,032 for seats directly behind home plate, before taxes and fees.

Resale tickets for Game 3 at Yankee Stadium range from $1,276 for outfield seats to $18,025 for seats between home plate and the Yankees’ dugout.

Yankee Stadium also has a standing-room-only Pinstripe Pass for over $1,000, which gets you in with one drink but no seat.
