OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The day starts off mild but ends with something we haven’t talked about much lately…a chance of rain! Showers are possible this evening from 6 p.m., with a few showers possible later in the evening and overnight.

Activity will be fairly scattered, but we have a chance of a few tenths of an inch of rain in some areas from the heaviest rainfall. The heaviest will probably occur in the west and southwest of our area. None of this will eliminate the shortage or drought, but it will help a little.

There is a small risk of some noticeable gusts this evening, but overall the severe threat is very low and mainly in the south-west.

Before that, it will be warm and breezy, with highs in the lower 80s and breezy southerly winds up to 30 mph.

Temperatures are fluctuating a bit this week, but above average is the theme again this week. There are still some small chances of rain later this week, but they are not as hopeful as today.
