Why Taylor Swift wasn’t at Travis Kelce’s Chiefs Game against the 49ers

On Sunday, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs played their Super Bowl rivals, the San Francisco 49ers, at Levi Stadium. Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift wasn’t in the stands to cheer him on, as the superstar was in Miami for her Eras Tour concert at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday night.

The tour resumed on Friday evening after a two-month hiatus. Although Kelce wasn’t at her show either, his family was well represented. His mother, Donna Kelce, and brother, Jason Kelce, were both there, as well as Jason’s wife Kylie and two of their children, Wyatt and Elliotte. Swift is headed from Miami to New Orleans, followed by stops in Indianapolis, Toronto and Vancouver.

The couple managed to spend a lot of time together before their schedules heated up, as they enjoyed a weekend in New York City. Swift and Kelce were seen dining with friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds at the Corner Store in Soho and again during Game 1 of the American League Championship Series at Yankee Stadium.

In September, a source said We weekly that despite their busy schedules, things have become very serious between them and the couple is even talking about getting married and having children.

“Taylor and Travis are very committed and serious about their future,” the insider said. “Taylor is ready for the next era of her life. She knows it will be special.”

Another source said We weekly in October that Swift and Kelce plan to spend the holidays together and that “they are spending as much time together as possible while balancing their careers and individual responsibilities — his playing and her music empire, along with personal projects.”

The source added that they are “looking forward to spending the holidays together… They are both focused on work right now and just want to get through the holidays and the tour and will figure out their next steps after the new year.”
