Golden Knights detailed plans for ‘Frost the Fortress’ for the annual Nevada Day game

The Vegas Golden Knights have unveiled plans for this week’s annual Nevada Day matinee game.

Vegas will host the Ottawa Senators on Friday, Oct. 25, with a puck drop at 3 p.m. to commemorate the annual holiday, which is celebrated on the last Friday in October.

Fans are encouraged to “Frost the Fortress” and wear white that matches the team’s jerseys for the game.

There will be specially designed white jerseys signed by players and available for auction. These jerseys feature the state of Nevada on the front and “Nevada Day” written in a vintage postcard font.

The auction starts Friday at 1:45 PM and ends at 5:00 PM. Visit VGKNevada.givesmart.com or text “VGKNevada” to 76278 to participate in the auction.

UNLV Runnin’ Rebels head coach Kevin Kruger and players DJ Thomas, Jalen Hill and Isaiah Cottrell – all from Las Vegas – will sign posters for fans in the concourse during the first intermission.

Additional Nevada Day items, such as pucks and t-shirts, will be available for purchase at City National Arena and T-Mobile Arena.
