The ‘Something In the Orange’ singer revealed that he and the Barstool Sports personality, also known as Brianna Chicken Breast– have broken up after more than a year of dating.

“Brianna and I have broken up with each other (sic) and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,” the country artist wrote in an Instagram Story post on October 22. “She has loved me unconditionally for a long time. and for that I will always thank her.”

The Grammy winner, who was first linked to the podcaster in the summer of 2023 following his 2021 divorce from Rose Maddensaid he personally had an “incredibly difficult year” amid “pretty serious” struggles that he did not elaborate on.

“I thought it would be helpful for both of us to go our separate ways,” he continued. “I am not perfect and never will be.”

“Respect Brianna’s privacy and space in this,” he begged, “and if it’s in your heart, mine too. With everything I am and everyone I’ve let down, I’m sorry. I do my best in everything. I have failed people who love me, especially myself.”
