The 2024-2025 NBA season starts Tuesday! Two blockbuster games – one featuring the NBA champions and the other featuring future Hall of Famer LeBron James – will get things going before other teams begin their campaigns on Wednesday.

In the first game on Tuesday, defending champion Boston Celtics host the New York Knicks in a matchup between two teams expected to battle for Eastern Conference supremacy. Before tipoff at TD Garden, the Celtics will unveil their record 18th championship banner.

The second game of the evening sees Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves take on the Los Angeles Lakers, where James could ultimately take the court alongside Bronny James – marking the first time a father-son duo would team up in an NBA game to play.
