    NBA analyst Charles Barkley guaranteed that Bronny James would appear in an NBA regular-season game for the first time with his father, LeBron, on Tuesday night with Ken Griffey Jr. and Ken Griffey Sr. attended the Los Angeles Lakers’ season opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

    “Bronny is in the game tonight,” Barkley said on TNT’s “NBA Tip-off.” “That’s a Nike commercial waiting to happen. That’s not true. Ken Griffey doesn’t fly all the way from Florida to LA just to not see Bronny play.”

    Sure enough, LeBron and Bronny entered the game together and made NBA history in the second quarter as the first father/son duo to appear in a regular season game together.

    Junior said in a 2022 video that if LeBron and Bronny ever played in a game together, Junior and his father would be there.

    “If that happens, I’m going to be there. I’m going to take my dad to the game,” Junior said in 2022. “We’re actually going to the game. LeBron is a Nike guy. I’m a Nike guy. gonna make sure I’m at that game. And I think it’s important that we’re all there to celebrate someone else’s success… When you’re playing sports, you’re not celebrating You celebrates other people. And that’s the beauty of sports. And hopefully in a few years we’ll celebrate LeBron and Bronny playing together.

    “One of my favorite people in the world!!” LeBron tweeted in 2022. “I love you boy! Thanks for the love and support from the first day I came on the scene.”
