The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning effective from 2 a.m. until Thursday 10 a.m.

The warning applies to central Douglas County, including Glendale and Azalea.

Forecasters say frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation and potentially damage unprotected outdoor pipes. Residents must take action now to protect vulnerable plants from the cold.
