    The next version of the mega-popular Call of Duty series is almost here.

    Game enthusiasts are just hours away from accessing the latest installment of the first-person shooter video game, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software. The latest installment of the long-running Call of Duty series has been highly anticipated, to the point that video game media outlets were counting down its release in different time zones.

    You can now play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on Steam, Battle.net, Xbox and PlayStation in Tennessee.

    When will Call of Duty: BO6 be released?

    All players have access to the latest episode at Friday October 25. But when you get access, it all depends on your region and the platform of your choice.

    For Tennessee players using Steam and Battle.net, when you gain access depends on the time zone your account is in, according to a report from Forbes. Those in Central time can launch at 11pm on Thursday, October 24, and those in the Eastern time zone will have to wait until midnight.

    Console players using the Microsoft Store, Xbox and PlayStation across the state can all access midnight local time on Friday, October 25.

    What will the gameplay look like for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6?

    In this latest game, players begin immersed in the Gulf War with the Black Ops 6 teams that have been banned due to “the shadowy clandestine force that has infiltrated the highest levels of the CIA,” according to callofduty.com/blackops6.

    Those familiar with the Call of Duty series will find the gameplay very similar to previous installments, but there are a few new features, including omnidirectional movement and the ability to adjust the Intelligent Movement settings.

    Black Ops 6 is the 21st installment of the Call of Duty series and, according to gaming sites, the seventh main installment in the Black Ops subseries.
