After an open beta in August and September, the full release of Activision’s next Call of Duty entry is just around the corner.

Black Ops 6 continues the Black Ops franchise, which first started in 2010.

Black Ops 6 is the second Call of Duty released since Microsoft acquired Activision. It will also be available on Microsoft’s Game Pass subscription service from day one – a big plus for Xbox gamers.

As usual for the Blacks Ops wing of Call of Duty titles, Black Ops 6 will include a campaign, multiplayer, and the beloved multiplayer mode.

The game is currently available for pre-loading and will be released at different times depending on the time zone you are in.

When is COD: Black Ops 6 coming out?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 releases on two different days, for PC gamers (on both Steam and Battle.Net) you can play the full game starting at 9:00 PM PT on Thursday, October 24, 12:00 PM on Friday, October 25 ET and 5:00 hours in Great Britain.

For console gamers with an Xbox or PlayStation 5 or PC players using the Microsoft Store, you can play the game wherever you are on Friday, October 25 at midnight.

Is there a trick to playing Black Ops 6 early?

Yes, but it is something you do at your own risk, even if the risk is relatively low. The ‘New Zealand’ trick is a method where players change their region to New Zealand in order to play the game early on Thursday.

While this is at your own risk, Activision, Sony or Microsoft have never taken any action against players in the past because they were so eager to do so.

How to play COD: Black Ops 6 on Game Pass?

Black Ops 6 will be the first Call of Duty game to launch on Xbox’s subscription service: Game Pass on day one.

If you visit the game library on Game Pass now, you can pre-install the game and it will be ready to go on Friday, October 25. If you can’t see the game in the Game Pass library, simply search for “Call of Duty” on your console’s home screen, find Black Ops 6, and download the game that way.
