When it comes to NCAA volleyball records, the Nebraska women’s volleyball team always seems to find its way into the discussion. So head coach John Cook took notice when the Purdue Boilermakers set a new Big Ten attendance record. The Boilermakers hosted 14,876 people at Mackey Arena for their Oct. 19 game against Indiana.

The historic game broke a 20-year-old Minnesota Big Ten record. So when he appeared on Kicking Back with the Cooks, the Nebraska head coach said his team will attempt to achieve that record next year. “I texted Troy, our athletic director, and said, ‘Okay, the game is on. We have to break this.’ So next year we will definitely go to the PBA so that we can achieve that record as well.” said the coach of the team at
