Denver Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds was the victim of a shooting last week.

The 29-year-old was taken to hospital in the early hours of October 18 for minor injuries following the incident and later released.

Reynolds was reportedly, external shot once in the left arm and once in the back of the head.

Denver police confirmed that two men were arrested shortly after the shooting and that attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault are being investigated.

“Josh Reynolds was the victim of a shooting in Denver on Friday and was treated for minor injuries,” a statement from the Broncos said.

“Out of respect for the legal process, we will defer further comment on this matter to the authorities.”
