Golden Knights want to maintain a perfect home record against the Senators

The Vegas Golden Knights have a perfect 4-0-0 record at home this season and will look to keep that streak alive against the Ottawa Senators.

The Golden Knights had a dominant performance against the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday, winning 6-1 without Shea Theodore. Tomas Hertl had his best game as a Golden Knight, scoring twice and adding two assists. He was active offensively and made five shots on goal, but was also physical, throwing three goals.

The Senators are off to a 4-2-0 start despite missing their number one goaltender, Linus Ullmark, for the past four games. They have won two in a row, one of which was a dominant 4-0 game against Utah HC.

Theodore was out against the Kings, but will return to the lineup after recovering from his illness. He and General Manager Kelly McCrimmon agreed to a seven-year, $7.425 million contract extension on Thursday. He’s off to another great start at quarterback for the Golden Knights’ top power. Kaedan Korczak stepped into the lineup in his absence and did an excellent job. He picked up an assist and gained his minutes at 5-on-5.

Michael Amadio returns to Vegas tonight after signing with the Senators this offseason. Amadio spent three seasons with the Golden Knights, scoring 41 goals and 72 points in 193 games. He will skate on the Senators’ top line with Tim Stützle and Brady Tkachuk.
