Kate Beckinsale stunned as she walked the red carpet at Variety’s 2024 Power Of Women event in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The actress, 51, looked fantastic in a quirky mini dress with a laced corset and a theatrical puffball skirt.

Posing for photos at Mother Wolf, she paired the pale pink number with a pair of her signature sky-high platform heels.

Kate secured her hair with a chic black hair bow and completed her outfit with statement earrings.

She took a seat at the event and joined Selma Blair as the pair giggled while petting a dog.

Power Of Women, in partnership with Lifetime, celebrated the winners of the Power of Women issue – Amy Adams, Zoe Saldana, Bela Bajaria and Carol Burnett – who each appear on the cover.

Others celebrated include accomplished women profiled in the annual Women’s Impact Report.

“The Power of Women franchise remains one of our most highly anticipated events of the year,” Variety CEO and group publisher Michelle Sobrino-Stearns said of the event.

“We are honored to celebrate outstanding women who continue to defy barriers and move the industry forward.

Kate has been through a lot lately, from her father’s death to her mother’s diagnosis with stage 4 cancer, and the stress and sadness were making her sick.

She was hospitalized this summer with a mysterious illness that left her fans concerned.

“I watched my stepfather die shockingly, my mother has stage 4 cancer and I lost a lot of weight quite quickly due to stress and grief,” she wrote on Instagram.

‘And then I was in hospital for six weeks because the grief had burned a hole in my esophagus, causing me to vomit large amounts of blood, and it was very difficult for me to eat.’

The comments were aimed at fans who criticized her for looking too thin in recent snaps.
