Beyoncé meant it Friday in Houston — her hometown — as she endorsed Kamala Harris in support of the Democratic presidential candidate’s bid at the “Reproductive Freedom” campaign rally at Shell Energy Stadium.

Freedom never looked so good. Introduced by her mother Tina Knowles, the Texas native took the stage alongside Kelly Rowland wearing a black double-breasted blazer dress and matching miniskirt from Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s collaboration with Garderobe.NYC.

The minimalist brand’s look was elevated to the max by its voluptuous silhouette – defined by sharply padded shoulders and a collarless neckline, and hourglass-like angles that nipped in at the waist. While it can stand alone as a dress, she paired it with a sculptural miniskirt from the collection. Stylist Shiona Turini put together the look.

Meanwhile, Rowland, who worked with stylist Wilford Lenov, wore a Fear of God suit with an Amiri shirt and tie.

Speaking to the crowd, Beyonce said she and Harris align with women’s rights to bodily autonomy, a position emphasized during the vice president’s campaign.

‘I’m not here as a celebrity. I’m not here as a politician. I am here as a mother. A mother who cares deeply about the world my children and all our children live in,” says Beyonce, who shares children Blue Ivy, 12, and 7-year-old twins Rumi and Sir Carter with Jay Z. “A world where we have the freedom to control our bodies. A world in which we are not divided. Our past, our present, our future come together to meet us here. Imagine our daughters growing up and seeing what is possible with no ceilings and no limitations. Imagine our grandmothers, imagine what they are feeling now. Those who lived through this historic day.”

Beyonce went on to encourage viewers to vote, then welcomed Harris to the stage. “We need to vote and we need you,” she said. “It’s time to sing a new song. A song that started 248 years ago. The old notes of ruin, discord and despair no longer resonate. Our generations of loved ones before us whisper a prophecy, a quest, a calling, an anthem. Our moment now. It’s time for America to sing a new song. Our voices sing a choir of unity. They sing a song about dignity and opportunity. Are you ready to add your voice to the new American song? Because I am. Let’s do this. Ladies and gentlemen, please give a loud Texas welcome to the next President of the United States, Vice President Kamala Harris.”
