They got off to a rocky start on Tuesday evening and were 2-0 down at home against Borussia Dortmund.

But then a whiff of that magical Bernabeu dust saw the reigning champions emphatically turn the game around in the final half hour.

Vinicius Jr stole the show with a sublime hat-trick while goals were also scored by Antonio Rudiger and Lucas Vazquez.

Dare I say, a Ballon d’Or-worthy performance from the 24-year-old Brazilian.
