Boise State secures bowl eligibility with narrow win over UNLV Rebels

Boise State takes the W against the UNLV Rebels after a close game at Allegiant Stadium.

Boise State is now eligible for a bowl game for the 27th consecutive season. The Broncos now have the second-longest active streak in the country.

Boise State put together 17 straight points in the second inning after trailing 10-3 after the first quarter.

Ashton Jeanty made a four-point conversion early in the fourth quarter to give the Broncos the lead. The Broncos were able to run out the clock to get the win.

Maddux Madsen had an impressive night throwing for 209 yards and a touchdown while adding 58 yards and a score on the ground.

The Broncos defeated the Rebels 29-24.

The Broncos return to the Smurf Grass on Friday when they take on San Diego State. The kick-off is at 6 p.m. The game will be broadcast on FS1.
