Did Taylor Swift Give a Nod to Travis Kelce With This Football Move During the Eras Tour Show?

Taylor Swift appeared to give a funny nod to her football star boyfriend Travis Kelce on stage.

During her Eras Tour concert at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Friday, Oct. 25, Swift, 34, took a page out of Kelce’s playbook — and fans are convinced the move was a subtle tribute to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end . 35.

Performing the outro to “Midnight Rain,” Swift pretended to throw a football while singing the lines, “And he never thinks about me / Except when I’m on TV.” A fan-made video on

“TRAVIS CATCHES THE BALL,” one person commented. “@newheightshow @JasonKelce is this the right form of football?” a second fan asked, referring to Travis’ podcast New heightswhich he organizes with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles alumnus Jason Kelce.

“She’s just tayvoodooing for the Chiefs in February,” another joked, referencing the 2025 Super Bowl that took place in the Caesars Superdome — and the past two years the Chiefs won the coveted title.

“She just scored a Chiefs Super Bowl win with this tayvoodoo,” someone else chimed in.

“If the Chiefs win the Super Bowl a few months later, we’ll look back at this video and say, ‘That’s the moment I knew the Chiefs had him,’” a third person added.

Swift has previously included Travis in her Eras Tours shows. Sometimes she does an archer pose during “Midnight Rain”, pretending to shoot a bow and arrow. The move is considered a tribute to Travis, who also strikes the pose during touchdown celebrations.

The fourteen-time Grammy winner also famously changes the words to “Karma” during her concerts, singing, “Karma is the Chiefs guy coming straight to me,” as the tight end sits in the audience.
