The San Francisco 49ers roster simply doesn’t seem to be getting healthy this year. And star wide Deebo Samuel recently returned to the field after recently battling pneumonia. Unfortunately for 49ers fans, Samuel suffered an injury on Sunday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys. He is questionable to return to the game, according to NBC’s Melissa Stark, who updated fans on his injury status.

“Mike, we’ve been talking to the 49ers all night about the health issues. Earlier in the game we saw Deebo Samuel and the athletic training staff. They were working on him. He applies a warming lotion to his left wrist. We also saw him enter the medical tent a few minutes ago with the head athletic trainer and the team doctor. Official word from the team: he is questionable due to a rib injury,” Stark explained.

The 49ers ultimately won the game 30-24 after the Cowboys fought back to make things interesting in the end. But San Francisco kneeled the ball and ran out the clock in the final minute.
