Jazz’s Taylor Hendricks had to leave the field with a gruesome leg injury vs. Mavericks

Monday night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks took a horrific turn when Utah Jazz forward Taylor Hendricks went down with a significant injury.

Hendricks, who was the ninth overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft, appeared to slip and fall. The awkward fall caused an injury serious enough that he was stretchered off the field and the broadcast did not show a replay out of respect for Hendricks.

According to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, Hendricks suffered a broken right fibula and a dislocated ankle.
