The Halloween forecast in New Jersey shows warm weather around 80 degrees

People associate Halloween with crisp autumn air and cold temperatures. Not this year. North Jersey has already seen historic temperatures in 2024 and now even more records may be broken on Halloween.

North Jersey will have its hottest Halloween ever.

Temperatures in Bergen County cities such as Teterboro and Bergenfield are expected to reach a high of 79 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Bergenfield’s record high temperature on Halloween in 1999 previously was 76 degrees, according to data from Bob Ziff of the North Jersey Weather Observers.

According to the National Weather Service, Teterboro’s previous record high temperature on Halloween peaked at 77 degrees in 2019.

The forecast high temperature in Bergen County on Halloween is 18 degrees above normal. In Teterboro, the National Weather Service said normal temperatures on Halloween usually top out at 61 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service, Halloween in Bergen County will see a low temperature of 63 degrees. This is the warmest Halloween low on record, with a low of 62 degrees in 2019.

You may not need that Halloween jacket this year, but don’t put it down as temperatures will return to their usual chilly forecast this weekend. According to the National Weather Service, Bergen County will see a high of just near 60 degrees on Saturday.
