A video of US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti wearing a traditional Indian outfit and swinging ‘bhangra’ moves to the beats of a Bollywood song during a Diwali celebration at the embassy here has gone viral.

Sources said the video was shot a few days ago during a Diwali celebration at the US Embassy.

In the video, Garcetti can be seen wearing a caramel-colored kurta paired with white pajamas and a maroon scarf over his shoulders, along with a pair of shoes, as he enjoys dancing to the tunes of the song ‘Tauba, Tauba’.

The song from the film ‘Bad Newz’ released earlier this year has Punjabi lyrics.

Garcetti, along with a group of embassy colleagues, danced in front of the iconic embassy building on its grounds, with decorative posters on the wall behind it.

The US Ambassador’s ‘bhangra’ moves on the song have also received rave reviews from netizens.

“@USAmbIndia Dear sir..!! Happy to see the participation, I am sure IND-US relationship will be at a high level,” wrote user @utkarshrai_28.

Many others described the video as “beautiful” and “fun”, while one user wrote “Fitness level 100”.
