Former President Trump stops Halloween in Albuquerque

Here’s what you need to know if you decide to go or are already planning to go.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Former President Donald Trump will hold a rally in Albuquerque near the Albuquerque International Sunport at noon Thursday.

The Republican candidate for president will speak to supporters at CSI Aviation, located at 2503 Clark Carr Loop SE, according to information from his campaign. Trump last spoke in New Mexico at a rally in Rio Rancho in September 2019. He also visited Albuquerque in 2016.

According to the Republican Party of New Mexico, Trump will be joined by Republican U.S. Senate candidate Nella Domenici and U.S. House Congressional District 2 candidate Yvette Herrell.

A spokesperson for the city of Albuquerque said Sunday that the Trump campaign still owes them $444,986 β€” including interest that is still accruing.

Registration for tickets for the general public is now possible online. After your registration you will receive detailed information about the route and parking.

What you need to know when you go

Parking opens at 5am and shuttles start at 5:30am. Doors open at 8 a.m., before event programming begins at 10 a.m. and Trump speaks at noon. They ask that you be at the parking lots no later than 7:00 am

You cannot park on site, but you can park off site here (click/tap on each location for the exact address):

  1. Private red lot
  2. Airport area near I-25 and Sunport Boulevard
  3. Mounting on Mesa del Sol (Blue lot; ADA accessible)
  4. Rideshare drop-off at the Sunport

Initially, parking would be at the Isleta Amphitheater. However, Democratic State Land Commissioner Stephanie Garcia Richard said Live Nation Entertainment operates the location and cannot rent out parking spaces at other locations. The commissioner said the only solution was for the meeting to be parked elsewhere or for the meeting to take place in the amphitheater.
