Draper came to Paris last week on the back of a maiden ATP 500 title in Vienna, and with two wins so far this week he has a seven-match win streak.

His victory over Fritz yesterday was particularly impressive because the American is a very good player. However, he did drop a set, so he may not play as cleanly as he did last week.

Still, there are some things that make him a firm favorite in this film, regardless of the odds. That’s mainly because De Minaur hasn’t been as sharp as he could be. He hasn’t been completely healthy for a while, but he’s found ways to win games (beating Mariano Navone and Miomir Kecmanovic so far this week), which is still impressive.

Draper is the favorite here, and for a very good reason. He is currently the better indoor player because De Minaur may not be completely healthy. The Aussie is a tough match for most players, but the last time they played in the US Open was an easy time for Draper.

The Aussie will have to work for most of his points and ultimately we just think Draper will have a better time with that. De Minaur is fighting for Turin, so there is extra motivation for him, but we don’t think it will be enough.
