Travis Kelce is sharing his thoughts on when he thinks it’s the right time to take the “next step” in a relationship — amid rumors that he and his girlfriend Taylor Swift will likely get engaged soon.

“I feel like (it’s) when you know someone’s life,” the 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs star shared Thursday in a special bonus episode of his and his brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.

“When you see someone’s daily routine and can understand that, and you get into a routine of being with that person or consistently talking to that person about their daily routines. Of course you just feel the real connection.”

Travis also noted that the desire to “get to that next step faster” should happen “naturally.”

The ‘Grotesquerie’ star also pointed out that family plays an important role and said that he thinks it is ‘great’ when a partner is introduced to family members.

Travis and Swift, 34, met each other’s families early on, with the pop superstar sitting next to her boyfriend’s mother, Donna Kelce, at the first Chiefs game she ever attended in September 2023.

The family outing took place just months after Travis and Swift started secretly dating.

Since then, the “You Belong With Me” singer’s parents, Scott Swift and Andrea Swift, have also made contact with the NFL star — and even attended the Super Bowl in Las Vegas earlier this year to track him down.

Scott, 72, recently sat next to a woman on a plane and talked about how much he loves Travis for his daughter.

His roommate Taylor Moore revealed in a TikTok video that the proud dad said that “of all (Taylor’s) boyfriends over the last twelve years…Travis has had the biggest impact.”

Despite Travis’ opinions on what it takes to propose, his older brother — who is married with three children — said on the podcast that he believes “moving in” should be a deciding factor.

“You have to make that decision, especially if you have roommates,” Jason, 36, explains.

‘You know: if you want to do it, you do it. That’s how you know. And if she wants to do it, then you both do it. Not like that, but in motion.”

Travis and Taylor don’t live under the same roof yet, but she does spend a lot of time at the $6 million mansion in Kansas City, Mo., when she’s not on tour.

For his part, Travis has also been spotted staying above the ‘Lover’ singer’s apartment in New York City.

However, Jason concluded that the final steps before a couple settles down are to have “more serious conversations about what possibly our values ​​are, what we believe in, what we want our lives to be individually, and with the person.”

The retired Philadelphia Eagles center, who has been married to wife Kylie Kelce since 2018, added: “You start thinking about things and the more you line up… you just keep rolling. Or you say, ‘I don’t want to deal with those things,’ and look for someone else.”

Travis then said, “That’s the love train. You either jump on or you jump off.”

Some have speculated that the Super Bowl champion may have already made the leap of faith with Taylor.

Earlier this month, Troy Aikman shared on the “Pardon My Take” podcast: “Someone contacted me today and said he might be engaged.”

A source previously told Page Six in August that the wife of a Chiefs executive told friends in a suite at a Morgan Wallen concert that the powerhouse duo was also engaged.

However, it was unclear whether the comment was a slip of the tongue or whether it echoed online scuttlebutt.

Travis’ rep at the time denied that an engagement had taken place.
