Donald Trump previously held a rally in the traditionally blue state of New Mexico.

About 49 percent of the population is Hispanic, according to census data.

“I’m here for one simple reason: I like you guys a lot, and it’s good for my credentials with the Hispanic or Latino community,” he told the crowd.

“You know, on the East Coast they like to be called Hispanics. Do you know this? On the West Coast, they like to be called Latinos.”

The former president then tells the crowd to cheer for their favorite term in office.

“Latinos,” he said, eliciting a small response. “Uh-oh, let me try again. Latinos!

“Spanish,” he shouted, receiving a louder response.

Trump also said he had “a little argument” while flying to New Mexico ahead of his rally.

“They said, ‘Sir, please use the term Latino when you’re in New Mexico.’ And I said, ‘I’ve always heard Spanish.’

‘I do a poll and it’s 97 percent. I was right, a free poll.

“Like I said, I love the Hispanics, I love them.”

Kamala Harris say Donald Trump’s His comment that he would protect women whether they “like it or not” shows that he does not understand women’s rights “to make decisions about their own lives, including their own bodies.”

“I think it’s insulting to everyone, by the way,” she said before campaigning in the western battleground states. Arizona And Nevada.

Be with meeting in Green Bay, Wisconsin Yesterday, Trump told his supporters that aides had warned him not to use the phrase about protecting women because it was “inappropriate.”

He said he told his aides, “Well, I’m going to do it whether the women like it or not. I’m going to protect them.”

Harris said the comment was part of a pattern of disturbing statements from the former president.

“This is just the latest in a long series of revelations from the former president about how he thinks about women and their agency,” she said.

As fallout from the 2022 decision spreads, he claims at public events and in social media posts that he would “protect women” and keep them from “thinking about abortion.”
